How to Participate
Ready to get your sticks, hooks and stash out? Here's how to play along!
That's pretty self-explanatory, isn't it? Leave a comment to let us know that you want to participate, and if you have a blog, don't forget to include it in your comment, so we can link you.
Make those blankets!
There are very few requirements for the blanket: they should be between 35 - 40 inches (89 - 101 cm) wide and 46 - 50 inches (117 - 127 cm) long, using bright colors. That's it! The design is up to you, and so is the yarn, although you may want to consider using yarn that can be washed in a washing machine.
Quilts are now being accepted!
Great news! If you're a quilter, you can also participate! Quilts must be patchwork, 60 inches wide (152 cm) and 80 inches long (203 cm). Quilts should be made in flanellette or cotton and be machine washable.
Update us on your progress
Leave us comments and let us know how you're getting on. We may even be able to do a weekly roundup, featuring photos and stories from you!
All finished? Let us know and mail it in!
All done? Great! Don't forget to take pictures showing off your handiwork and let us know. Then wrap it up and send it to the following address:
